We have some great news for veterans who are in need of transportation to get to the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Downtown Detroit. A new shuttle service started on February 26, 2020 that provides free transportation from the American Legion Veteran Service Office in Southgate to the VA hospital.
Shuttles run every Wednesday with 2 trips:
- Departing 7:15am
- Departing 12:15pm
In addition, handicapped veterans who need assistance and live within 5 miles of the Legion Service Office can arrange for pickup and dropoff service from their homes.
