In the Spirit of the Season, collections were made for basic care items for homeless and disadvantage veterans and for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Post 409 Legion, Sons and Auxiliary members, and even some non-members, pitched in to make this year’s collections a tremendous success. Thanks to all of you who donated.
Thanks, also, to Rose, Chris and Kristin for loading up all the Toys for Tots donations and dropping them off at the Allen Park Fire Department. It’s hard to measure a spirit of generosity, but it appears that in the case of Post 409, it’s at least 1 pickup truck load.
