There will be a ceremony to commemorate Memorial Day on May 22, 2021 at Noon at Veterans Plaza, the site of the Allen Park VA Hospital Memorial located at the corner of Southfield and Outer Drive (see map below). There will be an honor guard and several local dignitaries will be present.
Due to COVID-related restrictions, the traditional gathering at American Legion Post 409 will not be held afterwards.
Everyone is welcome to attend this outdoor, socially-distanced event.
