Due to the need to continue keeping our distance from each other, the May meetings of Post 409 will be held online using Zoom. This will allow us to meet and conduct the business of the post while maintaining the physical separation that is so important while COVID-19 is still a risk. We would very much like as many of you who can to attend those meetings.
May meetings will be held at their normal times:
- Memorial Home, Bar Committee, Executive Board – Monday, May 11, 2020 at 6pm
- Membership Meeting – Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 6pm
To help ensure that only members attend these meetings and to enhance security in the Zoom system, we ask that everyone go to Zoom’s website and set up a free account. To do this, go to https://zoom.us/ – click the orange “Sign Up For Free” button and follow the instructions. Once your account is set up, you can download the Zoom app to your computer, tablet or phone and attend the meeting.
Meeting invitations will be sent a few days prior only to those email addresses we have on file. When you sign up for Zoom, please send the email address you used to register to: elmer.boutin@allenparkamericanlegion.org.
If you have used Zoom in the past, please make sure you update the app on your devices to the latest version.
