There will be a salute to Vietnam Veterans held May 20-21, 2023 sponsored by the Selfridge Air National Guard Base Museum. The event will commemmorate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Peace Accords. There will be mini events througout the 2 days giving a glimpse into what it was like to have served during the conflict.
“A Vietnam Veterans Tribute” will consist of the Michigan Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial Wall, thanks to sponsorship by Vietnam Veterans of American Post 154.
Historic Military Impressions will present Vietnam-era equipment in the Traveling Vietnam museum exhibit.
The Great Lakes Military Vehicle Preservation Association will have a collection of military vehicles from the Vietnam era.
Food will be provided by Mission BBQ.
This event will be held on Selfridge ANG Base. Base access and museum admission is required.
