The Department of Veterans Affairs announced on September 27, 2019 that a project to build a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Canton, Michigan. This is the culmination of a project that started back in 2014.
The new clinic will be affiliated with the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center. It will be a 40,000 square foot building and will house a full suite of patient care capability including:
- Primary care
- Mental health
- Laboratory
- Pathology
- Imaging
Construction was expected to begin in October 2019 and is expected to be complete in late 2021. The clinic will be located in the area near I-275 and Ford Road, making it very convenient for veterans living in and around western Wayne County.
